Game Feedback & Rating

Here is a game I released around 2 weeks ago. I’m looking for feedback or ideas as to why the rating might be low. Any help is appreciated.

Wow! 111 players are playing it right now.

THAT’S AWESOME!

Maybe you can add some details to the spawn place.

I’ve tried it out and it’s a pretty well made game, even if it isn’t something I’m particularly into.

I believe the ‘low rating’ could be caused by the queue system, every lobby I’ve been in barely has anyone queueing the first night, which is essential to get through the rest of the game. So far everytime I’ve played I had to either go alone, or be left behind after the other 3 players leave midway through.
Of course this is more of a playerbase problem than it is the developer’s and could be avoided by playing with a party of friends.
Another factor for the rating might be the lack of guidance within the game itself, when I first played all I knew was how to turn on/off my flashlight and collect a few batteries. Only after a number of deaths was it clear how to avoid dying, this might be a turnoff for some new players (especially on the younger end).

As of now your rating stands at a 73%, which I wouldn’t say is at all bad, especially for horror type of game. Players tend to dislike games after simply not being able to beat them, which again, isn’t the developer’s fault. I’d say you’re doing pretty well.

This might be a bit of a biased opinion from me as I am a builder myself, but I found that some spaces within the house were a bit bland, I believe some rooms could have a more decorative feel to the floors and walls.

But overall the game is pretty great, hope it catches the same success as your previous games.
