Game feedback/Play testing

Hey guys, ive almost finished a FPS framework and id like some feedback/ ideas on how i could improve it to make it fully polished.

I have a few thing left ive yet to add such as:
Bullet holes,
Crouching,
Particles FX
and better aiming transition

if you have any ideas or if you find any bugs/ areas of improvement please tell me

It is very optimized, which is a thing i like! Also, i feel like the viewbobbing on the viewmodel is a bit too fast, which makes it a bit weird, the animations are decent, the framework looks very realistic, yeah, it looks very cool to be honest! I just think that you should add more vfx, like hitting the body, and i know that you’re going to make that, just make a body hit sound for now, then you do the vfx

The sway is kind of weird, it applies on the camera, but not on the gun, it’s a bit weird, but it’s not that much, i suggest moving and rotating it a bit, or just rotating, to give more realism, and using the spring module would be a good idea too.

Penetration would be also a good idea to add, since many guns in real life have them

Yeah ive been thinking on adding that, but i dont think that would fit the fast-paced gameplay im going to make it

Oh i get it, sometimes it may be a good idea not to add them, as they make the game unbalanced some times.

And also, i don’t have any problem with the aim transition, i just feel like it should be a little faster, cuz it’s very slow

Yeah if you look closely when moving the bobbing CFrame kind of makes the aiming snap to the start

Yeah, also, i like the detail that you actually animated the player pushing his arm a little back when he shoots but has no ammo, and when shooting too

Ok so here’s what i packed up for you to improve the framework:

Improvements

  • Make the sensitivity on the mouse a bit lower when you’re aiming
  • Improve the view bobbing a bit
  • Improve the inspect animations for some guns, because they look pretty basic
  • And also make the recoil less stronger when you’re aiming

Suggestions

  • Make a tactical sprint, so that if you press shift two times, you sprint faster but drains stamina faster too
  • Add assault rifles, it would be cool to see them
  • Make it so that you can reload faster by tapping R two times

Overall, your framework is very good, with those improvements, it will be even better!

ALso, hitmarkers and headshot would be cool

Aiming feels sluggish and the arms rotating as a idle animation happens very often. Otherwise, its pretty solid framework for a fps.
