Around October 29, my experience was suddenly got wiped out of the search results as it was shadow banned for unknown reasons. Because of this, the statistics such as CCU and home recommendations went declined and players reported that they can’t find my experience anymore.
I tried contacting roblox support which took more than 20 emails but the experience still remains shadow banned even after adding monetization and changing the description.
What’s even worse is that its flooded with fake experiences when searching here and my experience cannot be found there which I don’t understand why.
This new Roblox algorithm is definitely broken. I can tell from search results that algorithm replaced your game with one of those bot copy pasted clones.
I checked out a bunch of these, and they seem to all be copying your description AND icon/thumbnail. Most even left the links back to your DevForum update logs:
Surely you can do something with the Rights Manager to get rid of them?
Here’s my theory: Maybe when you updated your game recently, it was incorrectly recognized as a copy like these other games and shadowbanned, or maybe someone decided they don’t want to copyrighted content to be as promoted?
I submitted a removal request among these botted games but 4 out of 50 items were only removed and most of them were rejected with the reason: “Does not appear to be the rights holder of the original creation”.
About your theory: It is likely possible because I haven’t updated it for a year which accumulated the average of 2,000 CCU until I made an update at October 22, and later at October 29, the experience was shadow banned from the search results and it began to decline.
My Kubla Khan showcase was de-listed from search results for a few months earlier this year (exact-matches included). They have been re-instated for at least a month until now.
My game has ~9000 total visits and was around since 2020. I was not notified when the game was both de-listed and re-listed.
Would you know if Rōblox systems worked as intended?
