I made a game icon for my game and here is what it looks like:
But when I look at it in roblox it appears to be grainy and low quality.
I have tried rescaling the image and remaking the whole icon with a different resolution but have still come to the same result. Any help will be appreciated!
Edit: Becomes a lot more weird when the picture is more grainy on the website than in the app…

you made this in 512x512 right?
This one is in 1080 by 1080 but I have another file which is 512 x 512 which still appears blurry. Also I have uploaded other icons which are not 512 by 512, but are square and seem to work fine when being viewed in Roblox.
i was as confused as you were so i exported your thumbnail into 512x512, then uploaded it as an icon to one of my baseplates, and i got pretty much the same results so i’m assuming it’s just roblox lowering the quality

im not really sure. i tested out to see if it was because the image was darkish, so i just made it slightly more vibrant and upped the brightness and the results were still blurry and grainy
i even tried making the thumbnail darker
so the advice i could give you is to maybe try to make the orginal image as less grainy and blurry as possible. so when you’re making an icon just be aware of how roblox guts things lol
