Does anyone know how to give credit for icons you use?
I’m making a game, and the logo uses icons from www.flaticon.com. I wouldn’t want to make a devforum post to give credit for one thing (based on what I’ve seen before in this forum), ROBLOX won’t let me put a flaticon link in the game description, and i’m not sure if my game will get deleted if I put the attribution (Icons made by Freepik from www.flaticon.com) on a SurfaceGUI out in the open in my game.
Hello! I am familiar with “flaticon” they tell you to give credit if you use their icons, however I’m pretty sure that’s mainly if you use them for real life businesses.
Example: Pastriez ™ - Roblox
They use the icons, and do not credit them.
However if you would like to credit the icons, use the artist’s name in your game description.
You can just give credit by inserting the name of the website, user, etc. in the game description, since Roblox is a bit picky with link moderation.
Either game desc or a “Credits” UI in game. Ultraw’s Restaurant Tycoon 2 uses flaticon and they are credited there.
