thick and smooth lines are not doing you any wonders too
i suggest lineless art with lighting coming from below/upward
now if you wanna stick to using lines, just make sure that they are either messy or thin
I’m gonna make the lines more thin because know I see the little use of thick lines

A little cartoony for horror game, but It stands out compared to most horror game icons.
Depending on the game tone and art direction(something silly but still scary?) it can work well.
