Game Icon Feedback

Hello there, me and @GregThe_Gorilla have been working on a game together known as CyberCrime. I did a little icon for the game, in my opinion, I rushed it, can I get some feedback please. Thanks in advance.

It looks great! If the game is on the realistic side then this is good for it.

Thank you! Although I still feel like I rushed it.

The game takes place in a futuristic city and is very sci-fi if that makes sense.

Then the game thumbnail fits it. You remove the black background and replace it with buildings in the background and blur it.

The game is also very dark and foggy, that’s why I thought the black would fit in.

Oh, okay. That would work too.

Hey that’s beautiful! but I think that the text position is a little bit up

What I thought aswell, will move it down.

That’s nice, also some elements like buildings or NPCs would make the icon better

Looks amazing, good job! I do think the text should be moved down though.

Simple but very attractive, nice job!

(edit: as everyone else is saying the text is a lil high up!)

Its nice, but I would put a GFX icon with the title and hire an Artist for that

Not a fan of the background, seems out of place for the text.

The game’s lighting is dark and foggy, plus kind of scary, that’s why I thought it would fit in.

The icon isn’t actually that bad, I like it.

The icon is stylish, which is good, but it doesn’t visually explain what the game is about. People don’t find words to be something worth clicking. You need to have an icon that shows a lot about your game, and especially attract the right audience. If your game is a horror game, make it scary, if you game is fantasy, make it dream-like.

In this case, your game is sci-fi. Add a couple id futuristic buildings and if your game has crimes in it, put in someone commiting a crime.
