Game icon review

Hi there, I’ve been testing game icons with sponsorships and found that I can reach about 0.15% CTR with a couple different icons (tested across more than 200k impressions each, run for 24-72 hours).

However, I’m unable to reach any CTR values higher than that. I’ve done a fair amount of searching around on what a “good” CTR would be and have seen a range of response from “anything greater than 0.1% is good” to “0.1% is terrible - shoot for more than 0.3%”

I have two questions - does anyone have a good answer for what a good CTR is when running a sponsorship that gets 200k impressions over 24 hours (or more)?

And any feedback on this icon? It is my current favorite but I’m not a professional designer so any feedback would be much appreciated!

The game is here if helpful (or you have any other feedback on it!)

The design is really nice, the moon looks like a peeled sticker, but the text? It’s just a piece of string with a texture and an interesting font, but I’d like an artistic touch in my opinion. Other than that, I want to ask you, did you make this drawing?

I created it on Midjourney. I agree on the text… I’m not a designer (hence using Midjourney for almost all my games 2D stuff) so not sure how to spice it up exactly but I’ll work on it. I’ve heard Adobe Firefly is good with text gen.

Don’t use text generators or whatever guys and gals generate for text, be creative and try to either draw or simply choose a simplistic and interesting font, and make fun colors out of it.

I’m a dev by trade - all those things are hard for me to do in a way people like
