I’m making a game where new builders and developers can pick from a variety of maps to copy and build upon in studio to create their very own game. Is this a good concept, or should I do something else?

Well depends on the execution of it because you can have a really good idea but make a not so interesting game
But basically, you are able to sample some of the maps to see which best fits.
I don’t know why are you call this as a game maybe its a kit? a community resource? idk
It’s a resource kit as well as a game. You can play on the different maps to see which best fits your game style. From there, you can go to the game link, and copy it as a template
