Hello! My name is Crills1 and I would like the Community to give me some clever ideas for a game I want to make. Nothing seemed to unique to me and seemed boring once I started to create it. Please note that I am one person and don’t have a team so I can’t accomplish as much as I want too. Yes this grapple feature is from a Dev-Forum Tutorial! But I messed with it a little bit.
What do you want to achieve? A very unique game that is fun to play and original.
What is the issue? I can’t think of a clever idea that would make me or anyone else enjoy.
What solutions have you thought of so far? Thought of making it Speed-run related or obby (didn’t really like it but I might consider it), Playing different video games to get an idea, and Youtube.
Heres a fun idea that I tried but i couldn’t get to work because I cant script too well.
Make an Fps type game out of it. You could the grappling feature to make it a fun and intense game. You could grapple over a ledge shooting enemies to both sides of you. Grapple to a high point and slam down to do a ton of damage. You could enter a bullet time state to give you to svoid being hit. Think Space Pirate Trainer.
Its just an idea that I’ve been thinking of for the last few days. Would love to see it come to life. Could be a good time waster and a fun gameplay experience kinda like Doom Ethereal.
You don’t have to take its just an idea i wanna get put out to some devs.
