Game keeps getting taken down, account banned

My game ([ Content Deleted ] - Roblox) was taken down 3 days ago for “inappropriate content”. Upon contacting support, they reviewed the game and lifted the ban on the game, and told me it was a mistake. Literally 2 hours later, which was today, I got on the website to see I was banned for a day and the game was taken down again for the same reason of “inappropriate content”. I didn’t update the game for anything to be added that breaks TOS. I replied on the same thread I had with support and they basically told me they couldn’t do anything about it and it sucks to suck, so I submitted another request. Is my game being mass reported by bots, and what can I do about it?

Usually, it’s something in your game that’s causing moderation to ban it, moderation will usually detect any innapropriate names inside your game and if they find one, it’s banned. The best you could do about it is do a check in your game and check for any content moderation finds innapropriate.

This is what I thought the first time it got removed, but the support told me they reviewed it and found nothing wrong. I would check but I can’t access the game, I don’t have any recent copies downloaded and my account is banned

for anyone who cares even though support told me they took my game down by accident its still under review

I hope everything works out, this is something that could happen to anyone. I know this is an unsurprising statement but roblox needs to improve moderation or at the very least provide better support for developers should something like this happen.

just curious, but have you been able to contact roblox staff directly here on the forums?

how would i do that? the only page for support on this forum i remember seeing just had a link to their support form which would let me contact them through email

whenever I get a post taken down Im able to talk to a moderator/staff member about it. I figured if anyone had questions or concerns you could always send a message to them by going to their profile but I guess that’s only during topic moderation.

That is indeed the case.

I don’t think the moderators on here are the same ones reviewing games, but it might still be worth it to get in touch directly somehow. Just message one I guess? But being spammy or pushy at all will not be helpful. Good luck, your situation sucks.

What type of game is this? And another question, does this game contain roblox gears?

Game where you fight with swords and slingshots in gamemodes. It doesn’t let players use their own gears but it does contain roblox gears, the classic roblox sword and classic roblox slingshot however there are reskins of them

Most likely a roblox issue. Weird.

They just told me “Thank you for contacting us. Our team is currently working on restoring your model, please give us 5-7 working business days to get your content up and running again.”
if they are truthful this time it will make it like 3 weeks since the game was taken down. what even is a business day for roblox?

thought I would check and make sure, but did you apply the questionnaire to your game at all?
I know if the answers in it don’t accurately reflect the content in the game it could trip up roblox moderation and they did add a 17+ change to it recently. this would be a shot in the dark as for the cause of your problems though.

i did and the result was that my game was fit for “all ages”. the only thing i could have tripped up on is because “does the user contain random paid items” (there are crates) but to that i put yes and yes to ArePaidRandomItemsRestricted policy API (which i implemented in the game).
