Game looks bad in low graphics quality

So, at low graphics quality it basically kills off all the shadows and lighting from the sun, leaving the grass to look like it has no textures, every shadow from the trees are complete gone.

High graphics quality

Low graphics quality

It also removes every texture from my avatar.

just tell players to turn up their graphics quality in the description of your game

or you can send them a notification when their graphics level is too low

It’s not exactly a thing you can fix, because the engine HAS to disable multiple rendering features if you turn down your graphics quality for extra performance.
Hopefully we get a proper list of settings for the graphics sometime soon…

You can tell them in game, I did this once using UserGameSettings.GraphicsQualityLevel

There could maybe be a way to make it look better in low graphics.

Could be possible. I’ll consider it.

Yes, but that would be impossible, as either the engine forces it to not render anyway, or if the player purposefully set the quality lower to gain performance, which you defeat the entire point of if you force the game to render more than it allows. The best thing to do is prompt them to increase it.

Maybe I could at more details to try and not make it look empty but the avatar would still have no lighting at all.
