A cooking game that me and my friend are currently developing, are looking for ideas to do with our game name. The aim of the game is to cook for customers in a certain amount of time. It will be a round based game, where you and your friends/other players can vote for a different restaurant on a different part of the map each round and work in a different environment. If you do not serve the customers in time, the customers will leave. The aim at the end of the game is to reach the set amount of dishes completed for that round.
So the game name we have at the minute is currently: The Bad Cookbook
To clarify, this is a cartoonish/comedy style game which is meant to be fast-paced, played among friends and extremely fun for a whole party to take part in, hence “Bad” in the name, comedic effect. “Bad Cookbook” had a feeling of something being left hanging. “The Cookbook” felt too serious. Otherwise we haven’t had any other ideas, which is where you guys come in, thanks in advance!
You focus a lot on the idea of time or action, though I can’t really see the appeal in either:
Time can often be synonymous to stress and that’s not what we’re trying to express, it’s not really a “rush” or an “hour”, it’s 5 minute segments in which you serve as much as you can, but it doesn’t feel like a proper dinner service, hence “Time4Dinner” not really functioning.
Action such as “Customer Care” or “Let’s Cook” sounds cheesy/boring and forced respectively, “Let’s Dance” works as a name because dancing is this fun action that everyone loves and knows is enjoyable, cooking on the other hand can’t directly be regarded as such.
I did however like “Cookbook: Legacy” and “What’s Cookin’” though the latter could be hot waters afaik. Thank you for the suggestions! Myself and IyC will discuss them.
