Game Name Moderated After 65M Visits

My game “Steal Time From Others” was updated yesterday. As we, and many other games usually do, we add a countdown in our game title leading up to the update, for example [3 HOURS] Steal Time From Others.

Well, yesterday I started this countdown shortly before our update, renaming my game [3 HR] Steal Time From Others, and after that, I can no longer change my game’s name. My game received the update, and I would like to change my game name to [UPDATE] Steal Time From Others, but it gets moderated. I’ve tried many variations, such as UPD, upd, update and more, but it all gets moderated.

So, I gave up, and tried to just rename my game back what it’s been named for two years, “Steal Time From Others”, and I’m unable to even name it back to what it’s been named for two years.

I am unsure of when this error began, as I’ve been on a slight burnout hiatus (first update for us in a few months)

This error also happens when updating the game’s title via Creator Dashboard.

Contact Roblox support to see why this is happening.

It makes sense. ‘Steal’ means to rob. They thought your game is inappropriate because all it does is steal.

Change it to a more appropriate name, like ‘Time stealers’ or something.

Upon further testing, this turns out to not be a filter issue, but rather a website bug.

The game’s name DOES update, however, it does NOT update on the website.

As you can see, the URL shows the updated name, and the join screen also shows it, just the website is stuck at what it previously was.

I have also been contacted by other developers, saying they have the same issue.

Post a bug report about this and wait for Roblox Staff to reply with a solution. Don’t contact Support, they won’t help you with this (trust me, I’ve tried multiple times).
