Game parts acting weird if you put your hands close to your face in VR

I will try reproducing as much as I can since I am not the best at reporting bugs, but whenever I put my controller or in-game hand close to my character’s face in VR, the object render distance acts weird and disappears most of the games parts until you put your hands out of your face, prime example is that happening in Ragdoll Simulator by Frobulate

Visual Aids:
Watch 1213 | Streamable (due to 10MB limit)

System Information:
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 12GB
CPU: Intel i7-12700F
RAM: 32GB
OS: Windows 11 Pro Edition

Expected behavior

  • Play a VR supported game (ex; VR Hands, Ragdoll Simulator)
  • Put your hand/controller really close to your face or near your headset
  • Some parts will be visible instead of disappearing.

Roblox will unrender stuff that they think is out of the players view. On a standard client things like particles and lighting will unload if you’re not facing them, and the same applies to VR. Roblox thinks you can’t see that and thus it gets unloaded.

Basically don’t worry, it’s not your computers fault it’s Roblox needing to tweak their rendering for VR.

I see I see, But will this ever get fixed? Or will it stay like that? I know Roblox had to tweak it due to them porting it over to the Oculus Quest headsets.

It’ll probably be fixed, I wouldn’t worry too much. If you are still worried I recommend you contact support over it, that way they could have a record of it.

Could the op file as bug report to the customer support and providing system information version and aswell roblox version.
