Game servers being lagged

Please elaborate, what do you mean?

Do you have any profiles of your server performance under normal conditions and, if you have a guy who can test this script, can you get a profile of what’s happening when that script is running?

I’ve talked with people that manage executors and thats what i basically saw of what they did

Yeah sure I’ll try and get that I’m not sure when I can do it for though.

EDIT: is this the microprofiler information in the dev console that i should record?

Just setup your own injection script in the game to remove that event :man_shrugging:t4: that should work.

What? How would I do that? characterlimit

Yeah, you’ll want to run it on your server by doing this:

4 seconds is the maximum duration, 60FPS is ideal. I’d just run one before they execute the script and one while they’re executing the script.

Alr thanks, I will do that and I’ll see if I can get someone to test the lag script for me.

Thats what i said but the exploit makes harder to call the events

Just search for such scripts that exploit and try to make a variant of it that runs on the server by default to add denounce, etc… to that event.

Yeah that’s the issue I hate these exploiters never understood what’s fun about exploiting to lag servers

Yeah the guy doesn’t like me for some reason I personally haven’t done anything but ban him for exploiting…

they are zombies tbh they just keep joining you but most of the times they are just bots

Yeah those people are such irritating wasn’t there a way to check for memory usage/CPU usage and kick that guy instantly

I get an error saying I lack permission to access the directory of the event they’re using to lag the server. I don’t think there’s a workaround for this on the server side, whereas there is on client side.

Yeah that’s unstoppable that’s so frustrating.

I remember those methods being really unreliable, so I’m not sure if I would want to use them.

Did you try doing a localscript?

Why don’t you just check on the server if someone is spamming data, and if they are then kick them?

Maybe just setup a script to ban suspicious names (ex. Bot names flagged in my intelligence database)
