Game shadow-banned?

hi! for a bit over two weeks now, my game, void fishing, has been facing an unprecedented decrease in its CCU. i realize the title may come off as ridiculous, but i have no other possible explanation for what’s going on.

I think this graph is pretty telling.

It looks like the game was re-introduced into the algorithm and suddenly taken out of it, for some unknown reason. No idea what caused the dip on 10/4,

Now, you might think the game naturally died off. However, sponsor stats are independent of the game’s “standing.” The spike you see in this Impressions Graph is a 40 credit daily sponsor. The end of the graph is an identical 40 credit daily sponsor, ongoing for 5 days now.

Changing the thumbnail seems to have no effect. Retention has also decreased by 4% since all this started happening on 10/14. The qualified play through rate has plummeted as well. Both stats are now below 10th percentile.

I would greatly appreciate any and all input in this situation. I am at a complete loss for what could be going on. Thanks!

It’s probably not shadow banned.

A game called Fisch, which is also a fishing game because quite popular right when your graph dropped:

Comparing CCUs:

I can’t be sure but this is probably a big factor in how you lost so many players.

But, then again, your player count has a pretty natural dropoff:

i thought that might be the case at first, however, that wouldn’t explain the sponsor graph. the same 40 credit daily sponsor during two different weeks yielded incredibly different results. that’s a CPM of 7.73, which is IMPOSSIBLY high.

I’m not sure how the sponsor system works completely, so take my feedback with a grain of salt.

Although, it’s kind of hard to resolve the issue if only the graph is shown. Maybe showing how many credits are being used and how you’re sponsoring it may help.

the specifics are in the post, but they’re irrelevant as both sponsors are completely identical.

i should’ve added that there was a sudden drop to 0 prior to a big spike in players, right before everything started.

maybe this triggered something in roblox’s security system? nothing in particular happened on 10/4 that could’ve caused this dip
