My game (MM2) just shutdown as if I had pressed the ‘Shutdown All’ button, but I didn’t press it. What just happened?
Not sure if this is related but some of my servers (according to dev stats log in-game) had 12 second pings. Not 12 milliseconds (maybe some day <3) yet the other players weren’t looking laggy not did they tell me they were. I wonder what’s up.
MM2 is quite poorly coded and I could see a 12 second ping destroying the game somehow lmfao.
The second half of my post states nobody was lagging.
The 12 sec could’ve been delay between game server and data server or something like that. If that’s true I could see a 12 second delay for a datastore call messing something up.
Whatever, seems to be working now.
It looks like there was some form of glitch on the site at the time this happened. Not sure what caused it, but some of the stats like “users in game” sharply dropped and then recovered.
