Game Sound Track

Hello,

I just completed the sound-track for my game.
It is comprised of 44 songs credited in the toolbox to ROBLOX.

My question is:

How would it be appropriate to credit the song creators and should I credit myself as a curator or sound designer or composer or what not if I chose the music, edited the song length, volume, speed, and order the music is played in?

Thank you in advance,
Danny

You could give a little credit to yourself for changing the song a little bit, but you probably should give credit to the actual song author. I wouldn’t call you a composer simply because the song wasn’t fully made from scratch by you. I would only call you a composer if you made songs from scratch.

I’m not worried about credit myself unless it is normal to do so.

I just looked at the file in the browser for the first time and seen it has all the music creator’s info.

Odd, I think that is the first time I haven’t used studio to search sounds.

Thanks,
Danny
