Game taken down over copyrighted ROBLOX Gear

Good day everyone. Just recently, a game I own (likely an old game, I have no idea which one it is since Roblox did not inform me) has likely been taken down due to an IP violation (accompanied by a moderation warning).

The asset / gear in question was:

Content: Spinning Hot-Wheels Disc, assetID: 161211114

Now, I remember this gear. I obtained it somewhere between 2013 and 2014. I don’t know how it ended up in one of my games, likely was dropped or placed in the starterpack, either way, I find it very strange that a gear made by Roblox has led to an IP violation. I would like to know if this is normal, or if I should seek support from Roblox itself.

By the way, has anyone here had a similar case occur to themself? I’d like to know if this wasn’t just some weird single case or a reocurring issue (automated catch perhaps?).

You were DMCA’d by Hot Wheels. These big companies use AI companies to scan the internet and mass send DMCA notices on their behalf. You can’t appeal a DMCA strike, so nothing you can do.

I see. It’s just incredibly odd to me that you can get DMCA’d because an asset from Roblox is present in your Roblox game, IP or not.
