The sound effect should be triggered by a script in the model when the hat is worn.
After some effort figuring out how to get my avatar to wear this in-game, it worked for me.
When it fails for you, are you equipping the hat in the Avatar Editor and then entering a game?
I don’t own the item, I"m only reporting the error I’ve seen while testing it out myself and looking at the item via a catalog game or by downloading the item myself. The item doesn’t have a script to play the sound effect for it only the sound object.
Since I wasn’t sure about how much Roblox likes putting scripts in accessories nowadays I suggested a solution that would make it play the sound without one.
Oops, I got tricked by a knockoff in the Marketplace. How embarrassing.
I’ll look into our policies on enabling sounds in accessories and see who is responsible for this one.
Hi Alp, after internal review, we have decided not to enable audio for this item.
Adding audio to accessories is against our marketplace requirements ( Accessory Requirements | Documentation - Roblox Creator Hub , in particular “Your Accessory instance doesn’t contain extraneous objects, like Script or additional Part instances.”). We would auto-reject this accessory today if it was uploaded by a developer. So to be consistent with the spirit of our own rules we are going to leave this accessory as-is.
I hope this is not too disappointing. And thank you for bringing this to our attention.
The reason this hat has a Sound object inside is because it’s a modified version of the trophy gear used around that time, which has the same sword with raised arm design. I don’t think there was any intent for the sound to play.
