I was just looking for some feedback on my game’s tutorial. Previously, the games concept of “cube mazes that the player has to complete” was not getting through as well as the mechanics of operating doors in the mazes… So I figured building a fun tutorial to guide the player and make a 4x4x4 maze in the lobby that the players can freely play around with. The main missions, which are mazes of different shapes and sizes to travel through with friends, are coming soon…
Does the tutorial even makes this understandable? Is this concept too hard to understand still? Or is this enough to get the player started?
… I kinda want the players to have a shroud of mystery as its suppose to be a creepy horror/mystery genre.
I plan on expanding the main lobby, I’m not sure if its my scripting but the lobby was getting laggy with all the moving parts and im probably going to break it into multiple instances…
