Game window in studio is not movable

I recently got a new PC and had to redownload Roblox Studio. My issue is that the game window inside of studio can’t be dragged outside of studio for me anymore.

I thought it might be due to some setting that was switched to a default value and wasn’t allowing me to move it, but I haven’t been able to find anything related to it in any of the settings sections throughout studio.

I used to work with the game window on a second monitor to test the game at 1920x1080 resolution, but now it’s stuck in the default spot. I’ve looked for anyone else with this problem and could not find a solution. It looks like someone else ran into this issue as well about 2 months ago (How can I drag the main game window out now in Roblox Studio?)

Any help would be appreciated.

The feature is disabled. Unfortunately, the original “Game Layout” feature was removed a decade ago, but they disabled undocking to fix some bugs on certain corrupted layouts.

It’s strange to see that because it seems like something that could and probably should be easily enabled/disabled via settings. Blocking the entire feature rather than just making it toggleable feels too limiting. I do wonder though if there is a FFlag value somewhere that could be switched in the StudioAppSettings to enable it.
