nice job. i feel like it would be good for a parkour game or roleplay game or something like that.
i felt like it should have a little more of an impact. since i have nothing else to do i remade it.
I actually take the inspiration from The Henry Stickmin Collection Failed screen and your remade is actually spot on
joke aside in the project I made. The theme lean toward Scifi Mystery Story which is why I make everything so slow (altho the test message kinda go the opposite direction)
The stone death message might be a little cringe for some people, since this is very outdated meme.
Maybe change it into something more passively aggressive without any meme reference.
Also the UI looks good.

the rock thing is just to test that the death screen did response to different cause of death and probably won’t make it into the actual game
I’d say it only takes like 30 mins to an hour to achieve this exact result. But I’m still a new developer and because I only progress my work whenever I feel like it this screen alone ends up taking half of my day lol
I’ve been working on a sci-fi mystery theme adventure game in which players will have to face different kinds of danger with absolutely no hand-holding. The only way players will figure out how to avoid ending in the same death is to experience it beforehand or just figure out the solution themself I called it “Learning the hard way”.
