I am a new scripter on ROBLOX and wondering if you are able to buy gamepasses in a roblox game but the passes are in the group store (the group owns the game) or are the passes required to be in the gamepass tab in the game?

Yes, depending on the gamepass script that you are using you can change the link of the gamepass that you want to link into your game.
I have done this for third-party clothing and that is how I made like 5% from every purchase that clothing gets within my game, even though I don’t own it.
You don’t need to add gamepasses to your group, all you need to do is add your gamepasses to a group game and the group makes the income. As for adding gamepasses to the group store that isn’t a thing.
