Is there an estimate on how many eggs will be given out this year to developers? Being that about 3.5k+ people have clicked on the link and not knowing how many applied. Assuming like last year mostly known games are going to get accepted with a chance of few not so known.
Or maybe this year it’ll be different.

You’ll have it make it once you got accepted but you do need the concept for the mission.

I’m no ROBLOX staff member, but I assume 30-45 games this year, which is quite a lot.
Last year’s was 42 games, so I could only guess that it will get bigger.

I asked the same question, I don’t believe this is possible.
Really want to apply unfortunately my game is quite far from releasing, next year I’ll try though

Maybe if you reply with your application before the game releases? As long as you have a good idea for how to obtain the egg and all of that.

I did localize my game but definitely not. I am guessing it just need to be compatible with Consoles.
Does anyone know if there are any specific restrictions on submissions? My team of HRs and I are putting together a Redcliff place to submit for this, but none of us are sure if it’ll be accepted or not, due to being Redcliff. We’re still hopeful though.

I think that the game just needs to work well and that the place looks good. You might also need an egg design and a quest for it.
I’m editting the Time i got to finish the map, because some times, i still edit it!

To end confusion, as it sounds like egg hats will be obtainable when i read this, but a lot of people say that there will only be badges.
A couple friends continue to say there still wont be a hunt even after i showed them this forum post… um… ok…
Anyway, to clear things up so i can back up my claim to these people…
There will be obtainable egg hats that will be given to you within your account inventory, correct?
To be honest, the event change was never clear to begin with on the lines of egg hunt 2020, until this update, rather or not there will be any egg hunt, and if there where one, we had no idea how it would work, i ask around last year but never gained a clear answer… Others and myself have been left hanging for a year, not knowing if we get to hunt this year or not… big oof…

Ofc there will be egg hats this year, what would be the point for roblox to ask for egg designs if they are not giving egg hats? Its part of the tradition anyways
This may have been asked before, but I have a game that won’t be released until after the application period, but still in time for the egg hunt. I have a mission in mind, can I still apply for consideration?

Yeah that’s what i thought, but because of the event change last year, they think its up to the developers to create and add the eggs, but are only able to provide badges, and roblox is only there to promote there games.
Myself i am super happy that roblox didn’t crush such a old and popular tradition after all.
Always wanted to see events like this for other holidays, but they always seem to flop… probably because they got tired of nerf sponsoring all of them like me… one time was fine, after the… 5th? it was old… >_<
