Gapfill not working on gaps like these

the gap fill is not filling gaps

I’ve tried opposite and thinnest and every setting combo and it ant’ working

Is this 2 wedges you are trying to match up? Gapfill will only fill the top faces and not the entire wedge faces.
Are the far ends of those Wedges past each other even .001 studs? If so Gapfill won’t see that as a solvable gap.
Are these Unions that have the edges not matching with their hitboxes?
How big is the gap?
What happens if you resize one Wedge .05 studs away from the gap and try again?

This works for some wedges in my island and for smaller wedge gaps it just doesn’t work. the red is for example the area I’m filling

do you mean where they meat at the top like here if so they’re basically touching but then other ones shouldn’t be solveable but they are nless I misinterperet wat u meanm

these are just wedges and not unions

like this big idk

idk altho I might try that if nothing else e works

edit : this didn’t work no matter how big it won’t fill thsi gap:
endlarged

normal

Are the tops of both wedges the same height and the bottom corners where you’re trying to fill at the same height as well.
It’s very hard to tell 3d world references from a 2d picture. When I asked what size the widest part of the gap is your angled picture doesn’t help if I’m looking on a phone or a pc. Is the gap .2 studs, .5 studs or 3 studs in the workspace. You can find out a rough dimension by dragging the resize tool until the gap at the tip is very close together.

I think this is what you mean but idk

top

bottom

Ah, ok, so both wedges are basically the same height and at the same Y Position and flat relative to each other.
It’d really help if you gave a distance of the gap at the bottom tip of the wedges in studs.

if you mean these two points

then it’s 2.710655450820923 (may be nanostuds inaccurate

Alright. I was worried it was something like .02 studs or some low number that the .05 stud tool (Thinned) wouldn’t work on.
2.7 studs shouldn’t be an issue at all.
The only thing I can think of is that the far vertical edges of the Wedges is overlapping by a very small amount and the calculations can’t be done on negative space gaps.

I seperated them a little bit at the top and still didn’t work it even said “failed to gapfill” in the console

this didn’t work either

so yeah I give up I have no idea why it’s failiing I’ll just leave this small gap in my sand

Try reinstalling the plugin and see if that works

yeah it still ant working Idk what’s wrong with these two weges

Send me a link of the plugin. It may not be the real one.

I didn’t even place these wedges manually I just used a script but they’re still rotated correctly

0, 97.258, 0
0, 95.389, 0

is the varying degrees

ok I figured out that makeing the degrees higher makes it work but this can’t be the solution since I’l need to redo my whole island and make everything degrees higher, and it’s not really solution anyway

ok I just installed plugins source then forced it to never error again.

now I can fill any gap imaginable. I mean it gets buggy at times when it would’ve erroed but it’s not that buggy so I don’t care. sometimes just an excess wedge that I delete and move on.
