I don’t exactly have a specific issue but I’m wondering about what I should improve on and what things you would be confused about as a new player that should be explained better. I’ve worked on this game solo for a very long time and it’s still not finished. Please do keep in mind that it will still be rough around the edges, it only recently came out of early paid testing.
Some context on the game: it is inspired by an old Xbox indie game that isn’t around anymore. You and your team build up towers to get closer to the enemy, and the final goal is to destroy their castle gate and castle tower. You can use (currently) 3 classes to do this: Warrior (the generic melee frontline combat class), Cleric (a support class based on healing and building) and Mage (ranged combat class with different types of magic, can also enchant other players’ weapons). Players can make up to 3 different slots for each class and can use weapons and armor, which will be upgradable at some point in the very near future.
I would love to hear your feedback and constructive criticism!
Thank you very much for your feedback and time! I was wondering about the fading, I may speed it up or get rid of it entirely.
ps: the warrior team skill (number 6) grants a temporary speed boost to you and anyone else who joins the skill. That’s one thing I should add as well, a way to view a description of what your skills do!
Really nice looking game. It feels very well polished and the assets look really good. I managed to quickly break the tutorial though leaving me stuck without a way to progress without leaving. I opened to door before i got told to and killed the dummy. I then noticed the tutorial and did as it said until it came to “kill the dummy”, but the dummy was already dead so i couldn’t kill it.
