What has happened
We are also holding a contest.
-
First to 50,000 crops harvested gets a golden harvester
-
First to 5,000 trees chopped gets a golden axe
-
First to 5,000 rocks destroyed gets a golden pickaxe
Its alot, but these tools will really help in the new update as you see in the new update.
With that out the way, lets get to the many changes.
MAP AND LIGHTING CHANGES
Probably the most drastic changes out of everything

The whole build style has been refreshed to fit the game more

Caves

Map is about 3x smaller than the old unnecessarily big one

Oceans on both sides

A HUGE volcano, this is for future disasters and gear

Refreshed towns, Smaller and more concise

Better lighting, the sun won’t burn out your eyes anymore

GUI CHANGES

GUI’s have been updated to look smoother, and to be just nicer to the eyes.

Stamina, food, and health bars have been updated to refresh more often.

New stat displays:
COMBAT CHANGES
This is one of the bigger ones.

4 new bows

Completely redid archery

New sword scripts, knockback, status effects, armor pierce, etc.

Armor has been changed to give bonus damage as well as the defense and DR

Many of the models have been redone

Brand new animations

Shield rework, it takes stamina when active but also gives +10 defense

TOWN CHANGES
Many new changes as well

Both towns now have a leader, the warlord or mayor, who can both exile people but only the mayor can increase taxes as well
-
Town upgrades, which costs town money, town wood, and town stone, but give you access to; better food, better weapons, armor, more tools, etc

The nice bois town has new farm plots for the updated farming which will be gone over later
-
The nice bois pay tax on every sale, or crop harvested. But the angry criminals only pay 5% of their income every 5 minutes, capping at 50, but only taxing if you have 10+ cash

The nice bois town has a food reserve thats easier to steal from

The warlord is based off kills, while the mayor is based off of rank

Sell ya junk has been updated to be more convenient because you can sell everything in bulk now

The angry criminals town now has a kills board, so you can see who is the leader and who is next up easy

Both towns are slightly smaller because they dont need to be massive

Both towns have gates that when broken, causes mass panic and fire, as well as a new song created by GlitxchSZ, or GlitchDev as their display name

GENERAL CHANGES
A literal TON of new changes. Most being minor though
-
Stamina goes down faster but wont go dont unless you are moving.

Jumping takes stamina.
-
Movement speed is slower to account for the new smaller map.

New farming, which costs seeds and and crops that take 3 hits from a regular harvester to break, but also make $1 per crop.

New stone and wood harvesting, takes 5+ hits to break each one with a regular axe or pickaxe. Stone spawns close to water or in caves, while trees spawn just about everywhere. When you break these, you get a tool that stores how much wood or stone you have, and you can sell it at sell ya junk.

New levels, which increase if you kill somebody, harvest wood, harvest stone, harvest crops, and more ways to be planned in the future to get XP. Each level increases the amount of XP needed to level up.

Ranks which are based off your levels. The highest rank is “Diamond X” at level 215.

New arrows, which are needed to use bows.
