On behalf of OOFandLOLBOM Studios, we would love to get some feedback on our most successful game so far, “Get Speed Every Second”, which I’ll be calling GSES to keep it short.
While the name might give the impression of a generic low-quality simulation game, this is actually not true. GSES was created following the usual quality standarts of our group and was thoroughly tested to ensure it is balanced and fun for everyone.
The game consists of getting speed every second, which can be converted to cash. Cash is used to purchase boxes that contain pets that can give the player more speed or even reduce the delay between getting speed (for example, from one second to half a second). Every pet has its own hatching chance to ensure a fair gameplay for everyone. There are multiple islands that can be unlocked by rebirthing, which is done by spending cash. Rebirths also offer the player more speed per second.
This game was created at the end of 2022 as a simple joke but became an official game after its first big update, which took place around one month later.
Due to its simple name, the game is most of the times shown during searches, offering a decent amount of new players per day.
This stream of players also resulted in many sales being made, being the most common the developer product “Omega Box”, which is available for sale for 20 Robux and grants the player one of the best pets in the game.
We have never had this amount of players and sales and we’re looking for feedback so we can improve our game even further and possibly generate even more sales while also maintaining a healthy, fun and fair gameplay.
the worst part is that you’re doing a game on a trend. When the trend dies then, say bye bye to your game. It barely get any visits nowdays. Good luck on your next game tho
We appreciate your feedback and I’m sorry to hear about you unfortunate experience while playing our game.
As a dedicated group, we’re always looking for solutions to problems like those and we’re looking forward to provide a better experience for everyone in a near future.
It is indeed a generic simulation game, but comparing to most cash-grab similar games out there, I think we’re doing pretty well. It follows our high-quality standart and overall is pretty entertaining to develop and come up with solutions to enhance the game.
Also, I would like to clarify that I was not aware of this style of game being a trend until recently and it was made purely for fun and learning.
Again, we appreciate your feedback and hope you understand,
We appreciate your feedback!
I understand your point and I should clarify I wasn’t aware of this style of game being a trend until recently so it was definitely not made with that intention.
We have aknowledged the risk of our game losing players due to this trend and as a dedicated group we’re looking for solutions to that problem.
Your thumbnails seems slightly lonely with no sight of Players in the game. Showing a bunch of levels that the Player can achieve alone isn’t enough to get Players to join.
There’s no Close button for the Rebirth Menu. Also, you should make it such that only one GUI will show on the Player’s side. When one UI is already opened and the Player attempts to open another, close the previous GUI.
As for the game idea itself, like other Developers have already said, the popularity of the game is short-lived since trends die down maximum within a month or so. You may be able to gain thousands of visits when a specific trend is still active, but when it dies, so does your game.
You’ll pretty much have to start on new game ideas, since there isn’t much to do to, and it’s hard to discern your game among the hundreds of others “You ___ Every Second” game.
I’d recommend adding Invisible walls around the map (as you fall out of the map as how fast you are)
The map and gameplay also icons are very basic and could use improvements, the colours of like the leaderboards are very bright and I don’t like the colour.
These icons and UI’s seem very bland and basic.
I made this within like 2 minutes (Ik it’s not the best)
Thank you so much MsDeborah, we appreciate your feedback.
We completely understand your comments towards the thumbnails and the lack of a close button on the rebirth menu, as well as multiple GUIs being visible at the same time.
We are working to fix those problems with the next update, which is coming shortly.
Also, we have assumed and accepted the risk of this game dying in a near future and we have new ideas on the way for when that happens.
Again, thank you for the feedback!
Have a great day.
Including invisible walls around the islands is surely not a bad idea and we’ve taken that into consideration for future updates.
As for the gameplay, map and icons, we completely understand your point of view and we’re always looking to enhance gameplay experience as well as icons and thumbnails, so we’re taking that into consideration aswell.
Finally, we appreciate your demonstration of how our GUIs could look like and we’re going to do that as soon as possible.
Again, thank you for your feedback.
Have a great day.
