When I’m on the dev forum on my phone, I get this random logout message. I haven’t figured out if it’s linked to a specific category or not. It seems random, but consistent to whatever posts trigger it. I’ll try to post more info if I can find any. This doesn’t happen to me on my computer. I’ve tried logging out, clearing cache, etc.
Nice to see there’s another Google Pixel user here. Are you by any chance clearing cache for the actual PWA app?
The PWA runs on whatever browser you added it with. I’m gonna assume that’s chrome. Try deleting browser history with these particular settings:
I’ve heard on another thread that this is due to the site switching its DNS and that restarting your browser fixes it. Close the app and try again.
A few weeks ago, but still worth trying I guess.

Closing isn’t enough. If you want to truly restart the browser, you have to go to both the PWA and the Chrome app config page in settings and force kill.
Seems like a lazy answer though. DNS records are cached on a browser, yes, but not for weeks on end. A restart would fix the problem if the DNS change had occurred recently. By now the browser has probably already dumped the last cached record and requested a fresh one.
There’s nothing we can do, we can only blame Discourse.
