I am currently designing a fully customizable version of Doomspire Brickbattle (not relevant). If you know anything about it, some of the tools inside of it are different from the official Roblox versions, and I hate to say it, but they are generally better. I have found them, or scripted a workaround them myself for most of these, but I can’t find the slingshot. The one that GFink made allows for several more functions of play, and is generally way better. I can’t find this specific slingshot anywhere online or on Roblox, and I come to ask…
The most important feature was that you were able to “fly” with it. If you look it up, you can find several videos on the topic, and you will see what I mean. But here is the thing, it just… doesn’t work with the newer one. Just by using it you can tell the Roblox version uses an entirely different system than GFink, though they are similar enough to make it hard to replicate. If necessary, I might have to make it from scratch, but I’m looking for my options here.
Search up “Slingshot” on toolbox and the first result is the classic slingshot by Roblox. Yes it’s literally the same. The reason you can fly with it is your player jumping on the balls spawned by the slingshot. Also it hurts yourself when touching the ball but I assume that’s because of it checking is team the same when there are no teams.
No, it literally isn’t, and proof by that is that GFink’s slingshot uses a entirely different sound. Unless i’m jut stupid, and I just have entirely different hand-eye coordination when using roblox’s (which I highly doubt) they are at least a little different.
If you really need to see what I mean, use GFink’s version in his game, and the classic Roblox one side-by-side, and then you will see what I mean.
Could you give me a link or something? I can’t find any games that are uncopylocked (at least, on the official one). And trust me, I’ve looked at every single unofficial uncopylocked version I could find, and none of them have it.
Temple of Brickbattle Toolset (2021-present) and Doomspire Toolset (GFink era 2021-2024) are available as open-source module scripts
You may try these (but you need to modify the settings):
Yeah GFink updated Pre-2024 Doomspire Toolset with the addition of Paintball Gun.
The current/2024 version of Doomspire Toolset will be open source soon.
