Gfx with blender 2.79

ik this is a duplicate, but just wnna ask more questions

i was about to make a icon of my game but, 2.8 needs opengl 3.3
and my cpu : opengl 3.1

so I downloaded 2.79

  • Can you achieve blender 2.8+ results with 2.79?
  • How much time it takes to make similar graphics of 2.8 with 2.79
  • Is 2.79 still good in 2024

* If your pc doesn’t support blender even 1.x, you can use 3d modeling app and nomad sculpt :skull:

Results will differ a bit but you can try that. Just know that it will take a lit of time to render cycles because you’re talking about 2 decade old computer with open gl 3.1.
