GFX/thumbnail feedback

Hello. I have been doing GFX now for 3 years with a very long break in between, recently I have started up again and I was wondering about what I can do to be better at this, maybe the price range and anything you think.

A UK policing thumbnail.

This one is unfinished, I still need to post process both of them to be honest.

Both look amazing! Maybe the first one can have more police men? But they both still look really good.

Both the graphics appear quite impressive, in my honest opinion. However, I would like to offer some suggestions for further enhancement:

In the first image, the police car and the scenery textures exude a remarkable level of realism. However, the presence of the Roblox character slightly disrupts the overall composition. It would be beneficial to introduce more cohesion by aligning the character’s aesthetics and realism with the surrounding textures. Additionally, considering altering the background could further elevate the visual appeal. Nevertheless, the image is already visually appealing.

As for the second image, it seems to be a work in progress. To imbue the soldiers with a greater sense of vitality, adding facial features would be beneficial. Furthermore, the far right side of the image appears to have a door, but due to the darkness, it appears empty. Applying appropriate texturing to resemble a door would rectify this issue. Apart from these minor adjustments, I find this piece quite pleasing.

Overall, these graphics are remarkable, especially considering your recent return to the field of graphic effects. Nonetheless, there is always room for improvement, and with further refinement, your work can truly excel.

Thanks. Means a lot. I will do that when I’m next on my pc.

I can definitely see the first one, and how the Roblox character contrasts the realistic car and background, I will definitely work on that in the future.

As for the second one, I think I might add a HDR, even though it might not be visible, a light will still be cast. Obviously post processing etc will bump it up.

Thanks very much.
