If I increase an R15 humanoid’s BodyDepthScale, BodyHeightScale, BodyWidthScale and Headscale from 1 to a size such as 5, then the character begins to experience two significant bugs:
It begins to spin uncontrollably
It becomes unable to turn, or really slow to turn
Here are some examples:
Normal character - https://gyazo.com/7dd81db421d526050008623d0603a9d9
Large R15 character begins to spin - https://gyazo.com/a2e6dde83909718e23fefe27ad2f898f
Large R15 character turns slowly - https://gyazo.com/f3db3649dd81a70b6b25c32ec6286b15
This is causing me huge problems for my game, as it makes movement difficult and gameplay not as exciting.
Any suggestions on how to fix or prevent this?
Yep, this has been reported before.
If the arms, torso, or head of a giant R15 character touch a part that can collide (anchoring doesn’t matter), then the character may start spinning.
Accessories and legs touching something has no effect.
It is noteworthy that the bug can be triggered by the character’s arms touching something, since they cannot collide with anything and thus cannot cause a physical effect; so the bug likely has something to do with how characters are programmed to respond to touching something.

From what I’ve read, you can try tweaking the density of their body parts (this has been shown to work in smaller characters, might work with bigger characters) and their friction, but until they fix it, this is unfortunately what we’ve got.
A fix may be coming in the next year, however:
I have reported this internally. Thank you.

Okay thanks. I found changing the density to 0.01 and friction to 2 has helped, so I guess this will have to do in the meantime.

Small characters have incredibly poor acceleration
