Gifting of paid access experiences

As a Roblox developer, it is currently too hard to reach a broad audience with paid access games. This is because there is no way for other users to gift each other paid access games, such as deepwoken. I have seen other feature requests suggest ways for devs to give away access to their games, but this takes it a step further and allows users to give other users paid access games.

If Roblox is able to address this issue, it would improve the development experience because our games would be reaching a much broader audience. It would allow us as devs to make more money, and it would allow players to have fun with their friends. It is a win-win-win for roblox, developers, and players. I would love to see this added.

With how much Roblox keeps pushing for itself to be treated like a proper game distribution platform similar to something like Steam, on top of the fact with how much they’re (apparently) doing to encourage making paid access experiences recently (like having real currency purchases) it’s beyond me how this hasn’t been implemented sooner, or at least put on the roadmap.

Makes absolutely no sense why Roblox doesn’t do this, like CraX said, they want themselves to be a gaming platform like Steam. I do not like the idea of real money games because Robux is slowly becoming more useless. Robux has always been the currency and it should stay that way.

This is actually a very good idea. I remember just giving group funds to people who I wanted to access bloxburg, but this would have made it way easier.

Honestly, this gifting feature should also expand to USD items, such as subscriptions and Plugins

So that you could at least have the chance of using something for free that would otherwise cost you real money

I am totally for this feature, especially if it extends to those previously mentioned things, so that both developers and players could benefit from this
