I was playing a game and it took a really long time to load, when it loaded, I realised my character was a guest.
This is not due to the game because I have played it before and the owner said so.

Not likely, but do you think this might have something to do with the devforum signing people out randomly?
Roblox hasn’t completely cut off support for guests yet, it is still possible for older or manipulated clients to play as guests.
Try reinstalling Roblox, I’m guessing you’re somehow running an older version.
I’m on the latest version and it works now after i rejoined, seems like its an occasional bug that requires fixing
I’ve actually experienced this issue before a while back. I was still logged into my account on the website, but I had joined a server as a Guest. All it took to fix was to rejoin the game.
If I have to guess, it’s some sort of authentication issue on Roblox’s end. It happened to me on Windows 10, so I don’t believe it’s necessarily device-specific.
That is strange. Did either of you quickly log out or access Roblox from another device while this occurred?
Nope, was logged into my account the whole day.
Nope. Just joined a server, noticed my save file was missing, and realized I was somehow a Guest. Rejoining fixed it, no log-out required.
This happened to me too on April 7th.
