Google Play offer expired, Item remains onsale 2 months later

The Emerald Blade of the Blushing Grove previously contained a Google Play offer which had ended May 7th, 2025.

The link to this offer is currently archived, but there is footage proving this claim which at the date it was recorded had been May 6th.

Expected behavior

This item should go offsale, as Google Play offers are advertising items as limited time. Anything else confuses players and leads to mistrust in the community and Google Play as a service.

This coincides with another issue with Google Plays misadvertisement of “timed” items. They tend to post offers that say they will expire in a set date but they never follow through with this claim. These items aren’t discounted either, leading to player confusion that the items onsale status will expire at a set date.

I don’t know why Roblox lately has this tendency to make limited time items, and then forget to make them off sale once the time ends. How can you forget evey time, every new limited item I see nowdays is always put off sale days, week if not even months later. At this point just hire someone to remember things or I really don’t know what to say…

Or just bring back the timer system that used to exist during sales, not sure why they scrapped that if they want to keep making items go onsale with a timer. Their excuse is probably that it would be unfair for UGC creators to not have this feature but I honestly think it would be a very good feature to give to UGC creators.

Yes, it’s sooooo unfair for UGC creators to not have every single option that the official Roblox admins have. Now, not in this specific case don’t get me wrong, but it’s not so wrong to me that people working at Roblox have more options than UGC creators… Even tho this feels more like a lazy excuse than anything else because this surely applies only when it’s useful to them
