I am having issue whichever game I turn on, same thing happens. My GPU get’s overclocked. I’ve updated all drivers, cleaned up the PC, and still same issue. The Fact is that PC is brand new, and it is high end PC. Using NVIDIA Quadro 4000 as it’s GPU.

Roblox is melting down my GPU, lit.

Still haven’t found solution, any help?

Hello,

This is probably something that needs to be directed towards Nvidia as opposed to the Roblox forum with further testing needed to diagnose the issue. These errors can occur for multitudes of reasons and its worth checking other games to get a benchmark of how its performing. I would likely go as far as to say that this is unlikely to be a Roblox issue at all as games rarely handle things at a GPU specific level.

As your PC is new I would actually suggest it could be an installation fault within the computer itself, as opposed to an issue with the game itself - it could be worth talking to them about this. Anything from poorly seated RAM to the more obvious failed installation of a GPU could be the cause of this issue - additionally a damaged or faulty component can again cause this. This would mean that even if the drivers were correct as you’ve stated the issue can still occur - at the end of the day a driver is only there to drive the component, if the component is misreporting feedback it will respond accordingly. My biggest concern actually is the 100% utilization and the high GPU temperature (as your likely to reach a thermal cutout) which suggests a fault within the computer itself.

Your GPU shouldn’t allow such conditions to occur by default - here’s an example of mine in a default state:

You should see the the expected input meets the output, as such when I boot up a very graphic intensive Roblox game by its standards:

As you can see the performance is expected. It is worth checking these metrics to gauge the issue.

Drivers can also be faulty, it can be worth rolling back your driver using the driver’s website.

At the end of the day a GPU can and will work at high performance levels when playing any game, and I’m unsure what game your playing exactly before I rule out certain causes. Some Roblox games can be very graphically intensive.

I’d suggest talking to a technician as they can likely diagnose the root cause of the issue

Hope this helped.
