In this handbook, you will find all the guidelines and procedures that ensure that our group is being run properly. To make sure you understand how training and interview sessions, events, shifts, etc. are run!
1. Be respectful to everybody in the group. Harassment, bullying, discrimination, and any inappropriate behavior will result in a kick or a ban from the game, if you disobeyed this rule in a game, and/or possibly the group.
2. Stay professional. This means that in the group and all group games, you must use grammar and act appropriately.
3. Arguing with others is highly unprofessional and will result in an immediate demotion, if deemed necessary. All arguments must be settled privately.
4. If working behind the cashier’s counter, you must be wearing uniforms, so refrain from refreshing your character if you are planning on serving customers. Uniforms do not have to be purchased as you will automatically change into one when you walk into the kitchen.
5. If you feel uncomfortable or threatened by any other staff member, alert a Corporate+ to file a complaint.
6. Intern Barista’s do not have to be constantly working if present at the cafe. Just make sure that you maintain your professionalism and remember to obey all rules.
7. Advertising in one of the games will result in a warning, which could lead to a kick and possibly a permanent ban. Advertising in the group/wall will get you exiled.
8. Exploiting is a serious offense. If anyone is caught exploiting or grieving, they will receive a permanent ban.
9. Staying active is a vital part of keeping your rank as a staff here at Grande. It is expected that all staff make an effort to shout in the group, visit the cafe, host shifts/training, etc. Prolonged inactivity may lead to demotion if there is no reason for the inactivity.
10. Grammar is required by all staff in the Cafe and the Discord. Failure to use grammar will result in a warning and a chance of demotion.

2 - All forms of discrimination are strictly prohibited:
Discrimination based on race, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran’s status, disability status, marital status, age, religion, retirement status, and discrimination against other classes is prohibited.
3 - No NSFW content:
This is a community server and not meant to share this kind of material.
4 - Be respectful:
You must respect all users, regardless of your liking towards them. Treat others the way you want to be treated.
5 - No Spamming:
No spamming in text channels - This includes but is not limited to copy paste and large paragraphs.
6 - No Advertising:
We do not tolerate any kind of advertisements, whether it be for other communities or streams.
7 - No offensive names and profile pictures:
You will be asked to change your name or picture if the staff deems them inappropriate.
8 - Ping Reference:
Pinging anyone without a sufficient reason is not allowed.
9 - Swearing:
Swearing in the Discord server is prohibited.
10 - Common Sense:
Just because a rule isn’t listed here doesn’t mean you’re immune to that specific rule; the executives have the final say when it comes to disciplinary action. Breaking any of the existing policies or rules listed above will result in disciplinary action taken against your account.
The dress code at Grande is straightforward, we ask that staff do not wear;
- Extreme packages.
- Large/distracting hats.
- Clothing that is lewd/revealing.
- Clothing with offensive messages that are potentially discriminative to a group of people
Uniforms
Our staff uniform is available to purchase in the group store. Despite that, you do not have to purchase our uniforms. Our kitchen door will automatically give you a staff uniform that you will have to wear when serving customers at the cafe. Currently, MR’s/HR’s don’t have a dedicated uniform to wear at the cafe, our uniform is universal for all staff. However, if you are an Intern Barista+ you do not need to wear the uniform unless you are working behind the counter.
Greet your customer and remind them that there are menus behind the registers. If a customer orders more than 3 items, notify them that there is a 3 item limit per order.

In the cafe, LRs will be able to gain points by taking orders and making them. Every 30 points you can level up. When you reach a certain level you will be automatically promoted to the next rank. When you get to Head Barista you will no longer be able to rank up. To be MR at Grande you will have to pass the Staff Intern Applications that will be available at every start of the month. MRs will be able to assist in training and get mod in the games. Please take into consideration that Intern Baristas have to be trained before working behind the registers.
As LRs, your job is mainly to serve the customers, which means you won’t have mod/admin. At Grande we don’t hand out warnings, we simply ask them to stop then if they don’t stop, call an MR to kick the troller. For exploiters, they receive no warnings and are to be banned immediately. If you spot an exploiter make sure to grab proof by taking a picture and or video, then call for an HR+ to ban the exploiter.

3 kicks = ban
