Is the grappling hook made of a constraint such as a rope or a rod?
Bruh I donāt get why yall insist that itās anchored, or its āvelocityā?? @DasKairo it canāt be that because the hook is welded to an anchored object, anchoring the hook aswell, and the car is so heavy that the hook is like a feather compared to it so it canāt affect the car. And @uhSkittle the rope part is a rope constraint.
Oh yeah and I forgot to mention it works just fine when Iām in studio, but when I play it in roblox, the issue occurs.
edit: Maybe itās unanchored objects?? This wedge is unanchored and its freezing me
Usually stuff freezing in the air is either Physics issue or Velocity issue. Or networking
Is it being created from client or server? Constraints created from a client acts weird (like shown in the video, completely freezing connecting parts as if they are anchored)
Well I kinda think so. The entire grappling hook is in a local script, but the constraint itself isnāt created in the local script, itās just in the tool.
Try making the rope manipulation part to be server sided and see if it works
