As shown in the video, some patches of grass can’t be removed no matter what.
There is also no water or parts around that specific patch of grass shown in the video, so I have no idea why the grass is still there.
Expected behavior
The grass is expected to be removed.
Out of curiosity, can this issue be replicated if “Decoration” under properties is unchecked? (it should remove the grass blades and become the old type of grass) I haven’t worked with terrain much at all in well over a decade but I wonder if maybe the hitbox is different if decoration is turned on and that is causing an issue.
If Decoration is unchecked, all those grass blades are removed, but I would still like to have the grass blades in some places in my game, just not at that specific location.
Edit: I painted over the spot when decoration is unchecked, and when I enabled decoration again, that patch of grass is gone! That could be a solution to removing the grass, but I think it would still be an issue when the paint/ replace tool isn’t working.
I understand that, but I was wondering if it still does not allow you to replace the grass while decoration is unchecked? Like I said I don’t really work with terrain so I’m not entirely sure if the decoration is entirely a visual and the grass underneath remains the same but it just seems odd to me that the only type of terrain that isn’t allowing you to replace it is the one that’s different from the rest in that it has that “decoration”. I figured maybe if it lets you replace the grass while unchecked, you could check and uncheck decoration while you need to do replacements for now while you wait for Roblox to take a look.
Edit: Just saw your edit after I sent my reply - that’s good to hear, even though checking and unchecking can be a pain in the neck, hopefully you can do that for now to get by while waiting for Roblox to take a look.
