The grass mesh I have is fine, just two planes. However the problem is with the SurfaceAppearance ( I think ) I have the AlphaMode set to Transparent. It looks perfectly fine at first glance, but the top part begins to form an odd transparent section depending on the camera perspective, as seen in this video:
I’ve tried using UV’s in blender, but to no avail. I also tried re-positioning the vertices on the planes, but again nothing changed.
Is this just a single plane or 2. Do you mind sending a picture of possibly the blender viewport or the mesh with no surface appearance (or at least one with it set to overlay)
Just a singular plane. I said two because I would clone the grass piece and rotate it, therefore two planes being the entire grass, I got a little confused, apologies.
That’s fine, (sorry if I may not be clear, but I do have 2 ideas)
You can play with the UV mapping of the mesh (I believe you said you did already but I don’t fully know what you did). Just move the top edge of the plane down further into a transparent section of the texture.
OR
Extrude the top edge of the plane (just a smidge) and then make the UV map of the newly extruded piece in the transparent section of the texture.
Now, I don’t know if this will work but it’s what I can think of (also I’m not on my pc right now but when I do get a chance to get on I can make a more descriptive post for you)
