ive never used the terrian editor so idk what im doing wrong, ive seen games with nice grass fiels but when i try its just rocky and dead grass?
In the biomes tab i have only plains selected, and caves off. so idk what im doing wrong
I’ve never used biomes, but do you have to manually select the Materials you want in each one? Scroll down on the biomes tab to see if there are more Properties you need to choose from
Have you ever done anything to modify the appearance (color) of your Terrain Materials? If you’ve modified Grass it’ll show up the same way everywhere.
Have you tried using the Paint tool to see if you can manually paint a small area of the flat area with grass?
i cna paint it, but there are hundreds of thousands of studs to do this to… im not doing all of that
i kinda fixed it, and then it randomly started only making lava and thats it. doent matter what biome i choose its always just flat lava
“A small area” just to test, not to paint the whole thing.
in the workspace, in the terrain properties… is this checked? (decoration)
