Hey,

have you ever tried to make a grass effect like this one:

and spent 20 minutes or even hours trying to make it? Well that’s what I did, and then I thought what most programmers think when there is a mild problem that takes 20 min to do: Lets spend 2 hours automating it! Thus, this plugin was born.

Simply open up the plugin:

Put two parts on each side of the wall like so:

select one part and press the select part button:

do the same for the select part 2 button:

Then all you have to do is press create and then your done!!! ( make sure to position the parts)

You can make this as long as you want!

It does support ctrl-z, and it puts all of the parts in a folder so you can easily do what you want with it.

Settings

**SETTINGS**:

Currently, there are two setting options. Width, and offset

Width is the width of the part, as shown here:
The higher the number, the wider it is. So putting it to three can make it pretty thick

vice versa with lower numbers

Offset is the offset Between the middle of the parts on the y axis and the grass part.

Example:
The higher it is the more it is going to be raised:

the lower it is the lower it will be:

With my new plugin, it does the hard work for YOU.

It’s a bit ambiguous, but it works pretty well, I suggest however that more of the grasses’ properties depend on the part, like it’s with, so its easier to position them proerly, also positioning each grass 0.5 studs higher so it is at the same height as the part, otherwise cool plugin.

Thanks for the feedback! Although I am having somewhat trouble understanding what you mean by " the grasses properties depend on the part" Do you mean make it more customizable?

i meant like making the grass have the same size on the x and z axes.

The plugin UI could use a re-work, other than that I think it would save people time!

I’m actually really bored right now, so I just re-created the UI. If you would like to use it it’s listed below this, if not it’s all good!
