funds will go into your account after exactly 7 days! so just wait

bro i know i do a lot of robux per day that not the problem

oh ok sorry then…
but basically if the funds already show up in your pending then you just need to wait :face_with_diagonal_mouth:

It was increased to 30 days if I’m not mistaken, but it isn’t 7 days anymore.

really since how much day bc its been 2-3d for me

Items that were sold on March 5th and onward are affected. It changed as a part of making the 2D marketplace more viable and safer for creators.

bruhhh that so cringe why they do that ong

bro that not the same thing for me its like my robux dont go in my fudns idc abt prenium etc i got prenium

As I said, you will now get your pending Robux 30 days after a clothing item was sold due to these changes.

its pretty much random when you receive the funds as there is no set time but it usually takes between 3 to 30 days, any longer than 30 days then it is bugged and you should contact support.

obviously I don’t work for roblox so I cannot say for sure what goes on behind the scenes but I believe there are several factors that contribute towards how long it takes for funds to be received because during the escrow period, roblox will check the buyer and the seller to make sure the sale wasn’t fraudulent caused by a compromised user or a black market sale. similar to how they ban exploiters in waves so exploit devs struggle to tell if their bypasses work, roblox does the same so these black market sites struggle to get away with it

maybe its slow bc i did dev ex 4day ago

devex doesnt interfere with pending robux, devex is based on robux you already have

can you please tell me where it is officially stated that it will take 30 days, im very confused as i made forums about this but theres not been any confirmed statement which is causing chaos within the groups that own 2d clothing

It is not confirmed but it is my assumption based on how Roblox makes decisions.

My thinking process was simple:

  • Roblox made a decision to make 2D clothing’s market the same as 3D.

There was a discrepancy between how pending Robux is released for those two categories and it might be confusing to keep if their goal was to make 2D on par with 3D.

So the only remaining options were to increase the pending time (we know it was increased because a staff employee confirmed this, but the exact numbers aren’t known yet, so it is not a bug).

What could the pending time be increased to if it’s currently 7?

  • We can then pick a number higher than 7 but lower than 30. But since our goal is to make it the same as 3D, the only option is 30.

Key elements why this change is good:

  • Bad actors need to provide billing information & subscribe to Premium which means there are higher chances to catch them, instead of them always making alt accounts to hold a group and get away with it.

Why were they a problem? It’s super easy to steal clothing and I have to deal with over 100 stolen pieces on a weekly basis. If they change the name of my clothing, it is impossible to catch them.

This is a big issue on Roblox’s end, the ability to EASILY take an image or mesh. Just make a system like VRChat where it is borderline impossible to steal avatars/assets now and it WILL lead to a ban if you do so because their systems are super strict.

  • It’s less confusing to creators and new players, everything is simple now, not divided into two categories where 2D clothing lacked a lot of features 3D had like regional pricing, dynamic price floors and so on.
  • Your pending Robux will be more accurate as all items will now pend for 30 days. The final pending Robux will reflect your monthly earnings, where old systems weren’t able to do that if you were a 2D creator or mixed creator (2D + 3D).
  • There are less opportunities for stolen clothing to earn funds because any pending Robux for a deleted shirt WILL be removed. So there is more opportunities for you to send in a DMCA and less opportunities for them to earn funds off stolen items.
  • The marketplace will not be oversaturated with duplicates, stolen assets and irrelevant items.

Now why this may be a bad thing?

  • It can be confusing for existing creators and people who were planning to DevEx.
  • Funds will take longer to pend.

If there are any bad things to mention about the update, then please do. I personally see more benefits than drawbacks.

I believe i saw something that robux now takes 30 days, i dont know though. But just refer to these two replies

in my own experience, i believe some robux of mine took way longer than 4-7 days, like 15 days, so basically robux pending waiting is increasing

again i don’t know if this is intended, a bug or whatever, take this with a grain of salt
