I didn’t want to post this and make this public, but I’m getting no attention elsewhere.
Yesterday, at around 11:30am [PST], The group leader (AndrewOfPeace - Roblox) got his account breached, and group leadership (Universal Roblox Park & Resort - Roblox) got transferred to malicious users. Our group funds were well over 1M+ R$ and were stolen, and we were told we have to wait until today for any action to be taken. Fast-forward, we are now being told that we have to talk to customer support (which by the way, takes days). Instead of telling us this yesterday, we now would have to attempt to go through an extremely slow process just to get access back to our projects!
The users have been in the process of kicking all 41K+ group members, tearing our community apart, stealing all of the group funds, and stealing our assets.
I cannot understand why Roblox does not have an emergency hotline of sorts available for issues like this. A lot of this could’ve been stopped if action was taken closer to when this occurred
I just want a response from Roblox or at least some action from them. This is extremely demotivating and makes me question whether or not Roblox is a viable development platform if users are allowed to freely destroy our projects and community.
I put this under website features because thankfully, Roblox allows users to send group funds and promote people to leader instantly without any processing period. Hopefully that could be discussed
Update: I was dm’d a few moments ago about them looking into the issue and speeding up the process. Thanks for your support. I wish I could say that I was pleased, but I don’t think any person should have to make public drama just to get their attention
