Group Games and Developer Death

This is a grim topic, but I believe is very important to be discussed.

As a Roblox developer, currently groups are owned by one person. The group owner has sole control over many things, including how funds are dealt with. Automatic percentage payouts vs all Robux to group fund custom accounting payouts.
In the latter case, the developer has to be alive to maintain monthly payouts to team members. If something were to happen to the lead developer, Roblox does not have a system in place for a second in command developer to take charge in the worst case scenario of premature death.

This feature request is to allow a group owner to set up an inheritance of their choice for any groups they own in the case they pass away. I am not going to speculate on the best ways of figuring out actual death events vs faked deaths, but as a developer this is an important topic that I have not seen discussed or suggested.

Does it break ToS to manage this externally? Could you set up a will, or have a Roblox account owned/managed by a company?

Agreed, I feel like the Roblox account and any associated handling of the business and payout would be handled by the developer’s will

I think a better system would be just to allowed multiple group owners in general.
