Group Payout or T-Shirt?

Hey, I recently commissioned a builder to design a homestore for me for 1.6k robux. However, the problem is I don’t know whether to make the payment using Group Funds or by purchasing their T-Shirt.

The reason being is, I’ve been told many groups have been locked for literally paying out a big amount of robux to a designer etc. So, I don’t want to take the risk of having my group locked just for paying a commission. I have no idea what to do, so please could someone help me.

I’d prefer not to use the T-Shirt method as I’d have to pay the additional fee costing me more Robux. I understand why group’s may be locked due to other fraudulent activity. However, I don’t want to have my group locked and go through the process of contacting Roblox support since I still haven’t got a response from my last issue.

If you could please suggest what I do instead, I’d appreciate that. Thank you so much.

Why are you afraid to be locked?
Do you have to pay robux someone else?

What if you payed out through group funds in weekly intervals? You could discuss that with the builder and see if they’re okay with that if you like it.

You’d pay less via group funds however if you are deeply concerned about your group potentially getting locked, making a gamepass for it would be cheaper than a t-shirt.

Because I have 20k robux in funds

I guess I could, I just hate how it’s come to a point where he have to take extra measures for a feature that is literally in place to payout commissions etc.

Group funds. IIRC you can’t DevEx shirt/clothing funds.

Yeah, I came to the conclusion of just paying out with group funds.

Pay them with the group payouts. Do it all at once, it should not be flagged because 1.8K is not that much Robux, at least, likely not enough to be flagged by the system.

That’s what I ended up doing. I took the risk and did it all in one go. I hope Roblox fix this issue since other groups are getting locked for no reason .
