Right now, it’s extremely difficult to run a feature I offer to my playerbase. This feature allows users to submit their own UGC to use in the game. Unfortunately the group permission that has to be granted for the moderation team to republish their assets under the group also allows access to edit the game. This has limited my choices for uploaders to a great extent. Both the users and the uploaders are having problems because of this.
If we were allowed a permission that allowed uploading certain specific asset types while protecting other types, the workload could be drastically decreased on the moderation team (since appending new mods doesn’t introduce a potential security risk to the game) and would fix a ton of problems that everyone across the board is experiencing.
I think it’d be best to allow a role certain asset types, almost like a list of checkboxes that allow them to upload audio, models, decals, etc.
What do you all think?
